Below are alternative no-cost resources for you to explore.
1. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs offer free basic tax return preparation to qualified individuals.

2. Alternative AARP Tax-Aid sites. Visit this link to enter your location. You will be provided with a list of sites to contact. https://www.aarp.org/money/taxes/aarp-taxaide/locations/
We checked. Oxford Area Senior Center, West Chester Area Senior Center and Brandywine Valley Active Aging (Coatesville & Downingtown) do NOT have any remaining appointments.
3. Self-filing online using IRS “trusted partners”. Free File tax preparation and filing services. There are eligiblity requirements. Learn more here: https://apps.irs.gov/app/freeFile/browse-all-offers/
4. AARP Tax-Aid Online Filing With a Coach. Prepare your own taxes online. You can request help from a volunteer counselor to coach you through the process using your own computer while screen-sharing.
