Space Rental
Did you know that The Gathering Place at Kennett has a beautiful hall that can be rented? Whether you are planning a family party, Quinceañera, Sweet Sixteen or a well earned Retirement party, our recently renovated space provide the perfect combination of size, accessibility, parking and more!
Shade Hall
Our recently renovated Shade Hall accommodates up to 120 guests and comes complete with a stage large enough to accommodate a band or DJ. Shade Hall is a bright, fresh and beautiful space with a high ceiling.
Rental time begins at your arrival for decorating and ends with your departure from the building. $150 per hour for the first 4 hours and $100 per hour for hours 5 & 6. Hours 7+ are $75 per hour. The minimum rental time is 4 hours. Guest capacity is 120. If your event will be near or at guest capacity, you may wish to consider use of the no-cost, adjacent Wendel Room (pictured below) for dedicated food and/or bar use. This set-up allows for seating for 120 and a large dance area in Shade Hall.
Non-profit, charitable organizations receive a 10% discount.
You are welcome to BYOB and may bring their own food or hire a caterer of your choice. White, round 60-inch tables and our new, white, comfortable chairs are included with your rental.
Parking
The Center provides ample parking, with 57 on-site spaces, including 10 accessible spaces. There is also generous on-street parking to supplement.
