AARP Foundation Tax Packet Documents – 2025 Tax Year

1. Cover Letter – includes includes important information, including the location of your appointment.

2. Inclement Weather Notice – learn how you will know The Gathering Place at Kennett is closed for inclement weather and how you will be re-scheduled. 

3. The Intake Booklet must be completed at home and brought with you to your appointment.

4. List of documents you must bring to your appointment -carefully review the list.  If you appear for your appointment missing documents, your tax form preparation will not be able to be completed and you will be required to return.

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU:

If you answer yes to one or more of these questions, completion of the screening form is required before your appointment.

• Education – Did you or your dependent pay for college or other higher education last year? If yes, download the Education Screening form.

• Overtime Pay – Did you earn a lot of overtime pay last year?If yes, download the Overtime Pay Screening form.

• Vehicle Loan Interest – Did you buy a new vehicle in 2025 using a loan and pay interest on it? If yes, download the Vehicle Loan Interest Screening Form.

• Self-Employment – Did you have any self-employment income, side jobs, contract work, or run a small business last year? If yes, download the Self-Employment Screening form.
